I’m a problem solver who knows how to apply my broad experience to meet clients’ needs. This includes deeply understanding a Fortune 50 CCO’s job, priorities, and internal and external challenges; and hands-on experience with the media, capital markets, and complex global political and social issues.

I am a former Chief Communications Officer of a Fortune 50 technology company. My 20 years of in-house operating experience includes driving the communications strategy, execution, and impact for a corporate venture capital arm and a private equity firm – and partnering with their technology and tech-enabled portfolio companies.

I have a proven track record of demonstrating sound judgment, earning Fortune 50 C-suite client trust, playing offense and defense, and driving desired outcomes. This was the result of managing Intel Corporation’s CEO Communications (12 years), Corporate Communications (e.g. business transformation; strategic media; financial, issues, global manufacturing and operations communications – 8 years), and Intel Capital PR (4 years).


About Laura Anderson

Unparalleled strategic communications experience

I am a business leader and corporate communications expert who spent most of my career at Intel Corporation, progressing from Intern to Vice President and General Manager of Global Communications and Corporate Events, equivalent to CCO. I am also the former Head of Communications at Silver Lake, a leading technology-focused private equity firm, and early in my career I worked at Ketchum, advising financial and professional services firms and technology start-ups.

While at Intel, I led a global team to proactively push the legacy brand forward, re-positioning Intel as continuing to evolve alongside the latest tech advancements, while navigating one of the most tumultuous times in the company’s 50-year history. I modernized and restructured the communications function, establishing new capabilities, systems and processes to reduce reputation risk and improve performance. During my 20-year tenure, I managed communications on a wide range of complex and highly sensitive special situations. This included two CEO transitions and more than 20 other senior executive transitions; product security and technology roadmap issues; litigation and a range of policy issues; and the corporation’s multi-year business transformation that included a corporate restructuring, business launches and exits, site and factory expansions and closures, and a few dozen transactions (acquisitions, divestitures, carve outs, spins out, and capital markets).

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Arizona State University and a master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communication from Northwestern University.
